CAP Money Course

The CAP Money Course is a free course devised by the non-profit organization Christians Against Poverty. It will teach you budgeting skills and a simple, cash-based system that works! In just a few weeks you will get to grips with your finances so you can budget, save, and prevent or deal with debt.

Whether you feel organized but want to get a better handle on your finances or whether it’s your first time budgeting, the CAP Money Course will help you take complete control of your finances. Even if you have an irregular income or feel overwhelmed by debt, this course is for you!

The CAP Money Course is run over three consecutive Tuesday evenings. Each week builds on the one before as you learn practical steps to take control of your finances, so it is essential to attend all three evenings.

You’ll be at a table with 3 or 4 others, supported by a trained Coach. At no time will you have to share your financial situation with anyone else – all your work is done privately, unless you ask your Coach for help.

Here are some of the positive comments from attendees of our last course:

“The system is achievable and helpful! The tools we received were great!”

“It has opened my eyes to the benefits of budgeting, being able to look at my finances and come up with plans.”

“The online budget system that made it easy along with helpful wisdom and strategies.”

So, join us on 3 consecutive Tuesdays—October 21 through November 4—in Room H.
